Privacy policy

MMD follows a simple principle: collect only what is necessary.

Data controller

Chacun Son Job SComm, 315 rue Brigade Piron, 6061 Charleroi, Belgium. Company number 1015.629.491. Contact: contact@mmd.lu.

Supervisory authority

As the publisher’s central administration is in Belgium, the lead supervisory authority under the General Data Protection Regulation is the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

This does not narrow your rights. The regulation allows you to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your own country of residence, which will cooperate with the lead authority. Someone resident in the Grand Duchy may therefore approach Luxembourg’s Commission nationale pour la protection des données.

Analytics without personal data

We use a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics solution. It sets no tracker, collects no personal data, and cannot identify you or follow you across sites.

The resulting statistics are aggregated: pages viewed, traffic source, country, device type. No individual profile is built.

That is why this site shows no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Newsletter subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process:

DataPurpose
Email addressSending you the newsletter
Subscription dateEvidencing your consent
Chosen languageWriting to you in the right language

Legal basis: your consent, collected explicitly through an unticked checkbox.

Retention: until you unsubscribe, then deletion within thirty days.

Every email carries a working one-click unsubscribe link.

Processor and transfer outside the European Union

This data is processed by HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel), a customer relationship management provider established in the United States.

This constitutes a transfer of personal data outside the European Union. It is covered by the appropriate safeguards provided for under the General Data Protection Regulation, a copy of which is available on request at contact@mmd.lu.

If that transfer is a problem for you, do not subscribe: browsing the site involves no transmission of data about you.

Contact form

The information you send us is used solely to handle your request. It is neither sold nor used for marketing without your agreement. It passes through the same provider as the newsletter, under the same safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.

To exercise them: contact@mmd.lu. We reply within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with:

  • the Belgian Data Protection Authority, the lead authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — autoriteprotectiondonnees.be; or
  • the supervisory authority of your country of residence, for instance Luxembourg’s Commission nationale pour la protection des données, cnpd.public.lu.

Our articles cite external sources. Once on those sites, their own policies apply: we have no control over their processing.
